Open Day: Six Month Course

An opportunity to find out more about the Six Month Winter Retreat, meet staff and other prospective students, see the place, taste the food, breath the air and ask questions face-to-face...

Arrivals between 10–10.30am; the day will finish at about 5pm. The schedule will include a short introduction to the course, a tour of the house and grounds, some meditation, lunch and a chance to ask whatever questions you might have about any aspect of the course and talk informally to staff and past students.

Booking for the day is important, please contact secretary@beshara.org or call +44 (0)1450 880215 to let us know you are coming. If you would like to stay overnight before or after the day please get in touch.

If you are unable to come to a Course Open Day but would like to visit Chisholme on another occasion or talk to someone about the course, please get in touch.

The location is Chisholme House, a beautiful, secluded estate on the edge of open moorland, deep in the hills of the Scottish Borders. It is roughly an hour’s drive from Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle, with a regular bus service from Edinburgh and Carlisle to Hawick, the nearest town.
