Welcome to Beshara Australia

There is only One Existence, therefore the unfolding of the destiny of the world as a global entity, and the individual destiny, is indissolubly interrelated.’

Beshara is founded on this principle of the unity of existence.  Beshara offers a living and dynamic context in which the exploration of what this means for us can be looked at from a perspective of wholeness, individually and globally. ‘To be of service and to love and to learn; this is our pleasure.’

Returning home to bury his mother, a son makes a promise to his father. He will seek out a certain Sheikh Muhyiddin. In his quest for this man he will meet many individuals and discover the teachings of a great Islamic mystic. Guided by his spiritual master, the man travels to cities that for many of us are now virtually impossible to visit: Sana’a in Yemen; Damascus (Syria) and Tunis (Algeria). He also visits Oxford, Granada, Seville, Fez, Cordoba, Istanbul, Konya and New York in his quest. At each stage of this journey he meets friends of the Sheikh. Conversations ensue in Arabic, Spanish, English, French, Italian and Turkish. (Length: three hours).
