Chisholme House, Scottish Borders, TD9 7PH

The Wisdom of Intimacy in the Word of Elijah

If you ever wondered whether it is wahm (conjecture), that causes religions to come about or religions which determine wahm, or are still puzzled by the question of the incapacitated which is incapacity for its own incapacitated, not to mention the enigma as to what any of this has to do with the station of animality, let alone intimacy and, crucially, you also find that these questions refuse to go away, then this course is for you; otherwise it is not.

A daily programme of meditation, study and work sessions. Study will be done with a group, looking primarily at the Chapter on Elijah from the Fusus al Hikam, and some complementary extracts of texts from Jalaluddin Rumi. Other related activities and discussions such as reading contextual material, watching relevant films or clips, contemplations etc. may also be incorporated.

The course is intended for people familiar with Ibn 'Arabi's terminology and the central themes of the Fusus al Hikam.

Course Facilitator: Avi Abadi
