Know Yourself: Nine day course

This course offer an intensive and immersive introduction to the principles essential to a genuine search for self-knowledge, undertaken in the light of the unity of being. Students will be introduced to key concepts, in particular the principle of the unity of existence, and the place of humankind, service, identity and love.
Th course is comprised of study, meditation, work, and devotional practice. These four elements, with ongoing conversation, provide a balanced framework for self-discovery, applicable both during the course and beyond. Texts studied vary course by course but include extracts from Addresses, the 29 Pages, poems and extracts of Rumi and Ibn ‘Arabi, and papers written specially for the School. Some complementary activities include watching films, walks and contemplation.
This is an excellent resource for anyone looking for a fresh perspective on things or simply wanting to find out more about the Beshara School.
The course is fully residential and course fees include all food and accommodation. It starts at supper time on Friday (7.30pm) and runs until after lunch on Sunday (about 2pm).
The location is Chisholme House, set on a beautiful estate in the moors of the Scottish Borders, an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle.
