Weekend Retreat

This retreat is designed for a particular group visiting from Hull and is not open to other applications. If you are interested in a guided weekend retreat please consider the Way of Oneness weekend course starting January 30 or write to secretary@beshara.org for information on other retreats and ways of visiting.

The weekend will include sessions of study, meditation, devotion and activities done together, in the spirit of retreat and active service.

Accommodation and Timing: The course is fully residential. More about student facilities
. It starts at supper time (7pm) on Friday evening and runs until Sunday after lunch (about 2pm).

The location is Chisholme House, a beautiful, secluded estate on the edge of open moorland, deep in the hills of the Scottish Borders. It is roughly an hour’s drive from Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle, with a regular bus service from Edinburgh and Carlisle to Hawick, the nearest town.

Cost: £110 including full board and lodging for two nights.

Note on course fees: There are no standard concessions offered on most courses, because the fees are already kept as low as possible. However, we do try to ensure the courses are accessible to those on low incomes, so please write to secretary@beshara.org to enquire about bursary possibilities if you would find the cost of a course prohibitive.
