Tastes from Chisholme

Come and taste the food lovingly prepared during the Love Knowledge and Broccoli course, run by renowned chef and wine expert Martin Lam. There are six extra places available each night to join the Chisholme dining room table, dinner is served with a free glass of specially selected wine, or soft drink. Join us also for the buffet lunch on Saturday, that follows Colin Tudge's seminar "The future belongs to the gourmet".

Cost: £17.50 for a two course dinner, buffet on Saturday by donation

Monday 11th

Pot roast local free range chicken with garden root vegetables & saffron rice
Roast peaches with vanilla ice cream & summer fruit compôte 

Tuesday 12th

Loin of local venison
Swiss chard, roast parsnips, swede & turnips
Dauphinois potatoes
Rhubarb sorbet with brandy snaps

Wednesday 13th

Poached organic Scottish salmon with béarnaise sauce
Braised fennel, Jersey Royals
Almond cake with preserved figs 

Thursday 14th

Elizabeth David’s lamb and aubergines with pilaf rice, and spinach
Peach and raspberry trifle 

Friday 15th

Broad bean soup
Mackerel with gooseberries; Jersey potatoes; garden lettuce salad
Maple crème caramel 

Saturday 16th Buffet Lunch

Full menu to be confirmed but will include
Roast rump of local beef with roast beetroot from garden
Local cheese 
Fruit tart 
Sephardic Orange And Almond Cake
