Üftade (1490–1580) was one of the greatest Ottoman Sufi masters. His poems express the spiritual quest in simple, direct and wonderfully human language. After a brief introduction to Üftade, we shall read and discuss some of his poems.

Michael is a long-term student of the Beshara School, a Trustee of the Beshara Trust and he facilitates Beshara talks and seminars in London.
