Building the Private Religion

A day of study of newly translated passages from the Word of Jacob (with the full Ottoman commentary) which explore the following themes:
What is it that distinguishes a private religion from a universal religion brought by an envoy?
How does a private religion come about?
In what sense is a private religion an invention of the one who adheres to its precepts?
What are the degrees of Union that the follower of a private religion may attain?
The study will also include a number of film clips by way of illustrating certain points relevant to these themes.

The day is for anyone who has already completed a six-month course and limited to 15 people. The cost is £20, including lunch and all refreshments, and will start at 9.00am.
